10 day workshop on ‘Advanced Fabric Printing Techniques’ at Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala
An Art and Craft Workshop was inaugurated in the Department of Fashion Design and Technology in the College on 12th June, 2018. The theme of the workshop is focused on various Fabrics painting and printing techniques like Free Hand Painting, Screen Printing, T-Shirt Printing, Foil Printing etc. The resource persons for this workshop are Dr. Gagan Gambhir and Ms. Gurpreet Kaur. A total of 20 students are participating in it. The Principal Dr. Khushvinder Kumar blessed the students and congratulated the staff and students for organizing and enthusiastically participating in the workshop.
While addressing the students Dr. Baljinder Kaur, the vice Principal of the college appreciated the innovative efforts of Mrs. Veenu Jain and said that such workshops reinforce the message that hands on activities enhance the learning process, equipping students with creative and vocational skills.
Dr. Ajit Kumar, Registrar and Dr. Harmohan Sharma were also present on the occasion.

ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿੱਚ ‘ਅਡਵਾਂਸ ਫੈਬਰਿਕ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਟਿੰਗ ਟੈਕਨੀਕਸ’ ਤੇ ਦੱਸ ਰੋਜ਼ਾ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਦਾ ਆਰੰਭ
ਅੱਜ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਫੈਸ਼ਨ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਇਨ ਅਤੇ ਤਕਨਾਲੋਜੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਦੱਸ-ਰੋਜ਼ਾ ਆਰਟ ਅਤੇ ਕ੍ਰਾਫ਼ਟ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਦਾ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਹ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਫੈਬਰਿਕ ਪੈਂਟਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਟਿੰਗ ਤਕਨੀਕਾਂ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਫ੍ਰੀ ਹੈਂਡ ਪੇਂਟਿੰਗ, ਸਕ੍ਰੀਨ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਟਿੰਗ, ਟੀ-ਸ਼ਰਟ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਟਿੰਗ, ਫੋਇਲ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਟਿੰਗ ਆਦਿ। ਇਸ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਦੇ ਰਿਸੋਰਸ ਪਰਸਨ ਡਾ. ਗਗਨ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਸ ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁੱਲ 20 ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਭਾਗ ਲੈ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਕਾਲਜ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਖੁਸ਼ਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਸ਼ੀਰਵਾਦ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਟਾਫ਼ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਲਗਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਗ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਿਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀ ਵਾਈਸ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਬਲਜਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੀ ਮੁਖੀ ਮਿਸ ਵੀਨੂ ਜੈਨ ਦੇ ਨਵੀਨਤਾਕਾਰੀ ਯਤਨਾ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪਾਂ ਮਜੂਰਤ ਸੰਦਸ਼ ਭੇਜਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਹੱਥੀ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਿੱਖਣ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਧਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਰਚਨਾਤਮਕ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਵਸਾਇਕ ਹੁਨਰ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਖਾਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਡਾ. ਅਜੀਤ ਕੁਮਾਰ, ਰਜਿਸਟਰਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਡਾ. ਹਰਮੋਹਨ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।
